What dogs do you see on a walk?

Another thread got me thinking

This is the list of dogs that we sometimes see. Not altogether!!!! Just the dogs we 'know' (if you see what I mean!!!!)

6/7 collies and a couple of collies crosses.
4 staffis
A couple of Labradoodles.
2 x Springers
A cockerpoo
2x Basset Hounds
2 Flat Coats ( aside from muppet and his sidekick).
4 labs
A husky.
A couple of CKCS
A couple of cocker spaniels.
A pointer
2 x GSDs
About 3 Bichon Frises.
A couple of Westies.
A couple of JRTs
A couple of Red Setters
A Gordon Setter
A rotti
A Weimeraner
3 Golden Retrievers
5 Boxers
1 EBT
1 American Bulldog
2 or 3 proper mongrels

We don't see all of them everyday...we probably see about 6 a day on average but the list is the breeds we see the most of.

Are these dogs you see regularly?

If so, none!

I do see the keepers letting their dogs out in the fields by their houses occasionally, but don't ever see any dogs regularly when I am out walking mine.

Depends where I walk as each park actually has a really different 'crowd', and different dogs are the norm in each...

But on avergae, kind of in order of number:
Staffies
Labs
Poos - loads of cocker, lab, golden, other crosses
German shepherds
Cockers
Collies
Cross breeds
JRT
Goldies
Springers
Huskies
Other small breeds like bishons, pugs - although not as many of these as I know exist! People are always coming in to PAH with their little dogs, yet not once have I seen a chihuahua in a park.
Same with giant breeds, see a few in PAH like Newfies, Bernese, Leo, but not really out and about.

Then living in quite a busy area I have seen quite a variety of dog breeds but only a handful of each. Met some interesting ones like Wolfhounds (and cute wolfhound puppy crosses - they were huge!), entlebucher mountain dog, briard, canaan dog.

Oo forgot the wolfhound and the 2 pugs!!!!
I see each of them say about once every month or 2.
Generally I see about 5/6 per walk, mainly in the small park we walk through to get to our proper, quiet walk In there I sometimes don't see anyone, sometimes up to 3 dogs.

hmmm we see

4 Border Collies
4 Labs
1 Cairn Terrier
2 Terrier crosses
1 Rottie
2 Staffs
2 Jack Russells
1 Springer Spaniel

Usually we dont see anyone as we go in the woods that hardly anyone goes in, they just walk them round the field.

The only ones we see regular are the Spaniel and Jack Russell and thats only if we have an early 6:30AM walk.

We don't see dogs regularly but then we go to so many different places everyday and TBH I take little notice of other peoples dogs

We do walk with Dave and his Shar Pei Ki from time to time over Babs Mill Nature centre, but thats really because Ki likes our gang and stays out of trouble when he's with them
