Attacked by Golfballs!!

OH, has just been outside building us a new whelping box . Golf ball bounced off our shed roof and narrowly missed hitting him. Couple of mins later another one bonuced into next doors garden and into their conservatory, then another one hit our house roof and bounced (don,t know where that one has gone). Followed by two more into other neighbours back garden. OH, has been up stairs to see if he could find out where they are coming from and there were three teenagers in the field behind us with a golf club. They were n,t playing golf just hitting the balls in different directions . They must have run out of balls now as we haven,t had any more, but stupid little beggars could have caused a serious accident to someone. Looks like they must have started their holidays early, roll on September if this is the sort of thing we,re going to have to put up with

flaming little idiots do they not realise golf balls can do very serious damage, thank god none of your windows where hit!
thats the only thing about summer holidays is there are so many kids around and they get bored so end up getting into mischief (sp?)

i would have called the police .. they could have seriously injured someone or done a lot of damage to property .. i wonder if their parents know what they were up too im so happy they didnt you you or your oh any damage .. whew !! close shave though

Thought of phoning police but the kids would have gone by the time they had got here . If it happens again i will, as you say they could have seriously hurt someone. Just hope that this sort of thing isn,t going to go on throughout the summer holidays. Most of the kids round here are alright, just give the wrong ones a golf club and a ball and golf is the last thing on their mind
