Ranger is in my bad books (pun intended)

I'm a voracious reader. Have books on the go all the time, usually 2 or 3 tbh. So last night I finished a book and thought to myself, I have one book left in the house I haven't read, I'll leave it for an hour or so before I settle down to read it . Huuby made me a cup of tea and then went through to the living room and then I hear him saying 'er Alex, is this an important book?' What book says I, and go through to find Ranger sitting with his paws on top of a VERY shredded book, looking very pleased with himself. Managed to salvage a piece of the cover and of course it was my brand new unread book which he had pilfered out of my handbag! Now bearing in mind that at the time there was 4 books under the coffee table, one on the sofa and 3 sitting on the stairs, he had to go an take the one from my handbag that was unread I couldn't believe it. He has never chewed any before and it just had to be the one time I have no more books to read. So I now have the DT's trying to cope with no reading material

Ha Ha!! I know the feeling

I am an avid reader also, and Mindy is as well. I cannot leave any book lying around. I am not used to it, Molly has never touched one!!

She chewed through one that I was mid way through reading. I'm gonna go get it back through the library. I am not buying it again.

Think I'll have to take it out of her spending money

I think you may find a few more things being shredded, at this age teething is rife.

By the looks of things he was trying to make himself a little nest Maybe he's a hamster in disguise!!

It was the dopey, tongue hanging out look and smile as if to say, 'aren't I clever' that got me.
