Is this normal?

Hi guys,

Probably another silly question from me. Vegas is 10 months old now and a big girl already I have noticed that when she sits down she somewhat hesitates or goes slow and then flops to one side. Its like she cant sit straight down sometimes she has to fall to her side.

I know larger dogs can have hip problems do you think there may be something wrong? She doesnt appear to be in any pain or discomfort but she just looks funny trying to sit.

A dog of this age should have sufficient muscle tone to sit correctly, I would have her checked out.

She is off to the vet for heart worm injection next week, I will get them to check then.
Should I be worried?

I had a GSD who was apparently sound but never sat straight in her life. However, if your dog can`t hold any sit for long I`d suspect a problem. I hope the vet can advise you.
