Was greeted by the sound of crowing

From my five year old egg laying hen Betty crows every year around this time ever since their companion Bindi was taken by fox and I all ways think how sweet and sad that she remembers this way ^^

is a alone then? only asking as hens prefer to be in groups.

I have chickens though and one of mine is the noisiest of all LOL

I had three but Bindi was killed by fox dragged out the back end of a secure Eglu (these things are supposed to be fox proof -.-))

I have two Poland hens left Betty and Blondie but Betty is such a softie she pines for Bindi
