Secondary growth spurts and food?

When I posted about Louie's elbow on another forum as well as here, someone said that their dog had had a clicky joint but it was due to food and growth.

I'm just wondering if the food I have Louie on now (the dry) has caused any problems if he's had another growth spurt?

Dogs have more than the initial growth spurt don't they?

I'm only asking because I had him on CSJ when he was a pup and now he's on the dry that we can afford (soon to be fully over to raw). Am I asking a daft question?
