It makes such a difference

To the walk when the dog is having fun too!!

We went to the park again today their was lots going on with football but Millie was very good ^__^

She made some new friends and is such a flirt too! I think she likes male dogs more then females especially if their smaller then she is!! So their were these two super cute terriror crosses at the park yesterday who came straightup to Millie inviting her to play so I let her off once we had met the owners I explained that Millie wasn't too happy about being touched by strangers but did like people the lady was good and allowed Millie her space so we let Millie off her lead and three dogs went off for a game of chase and almost the whole time Millie ran circles around them every time they came up to her she nudged them and ran off again it was like watching a game of tag ^__^

we met some collies after that but they were occupied by their owners playing fetch and Millie tagged them for a while and then came back to us (she never strays far)) then their was the cockerpoo though the cockerpoo was more interested in us then Millie so Millie ignored it. She is really getting better at socialising with other dogs now its not such a worry anymore. A month a go would have been a different story she would run back to the car with her tail between her legs screaming at the top of her lungs if another dog went near her.

I wish I had my camera with me it was good light too so could have kept it on automatic ^__^

That's great! You're right it is better when the dog is enjoying themselves too I'm glad she had such a great time and the lady gave her space, so important and yet a lot of people ignore when you ask this of them.
Hope you remember your camera next time and we can see pics!

Millie is quite selective of her people theirs only like three people in the world besides my parents and brother and me that she lets stroke her without a fuss. She is quite a character she isn't to bad greeting people off lead I guess when she is on lead she feels quite insecure when people come up to her but I guess that will go with time everything else has she just takes her time to get the hang of things :>

Its quite handy in some ways as we would know if someone tried to take she would scream the place done before they got anywhere but at the same time so many people want to say hello to her and she gets a bit insecure when on her lead but now I know the problem I can work on it and hopefully she will over come her insecurity.
