I am so sad

We had to send our Lily back to the rescue today, she had bitten for the third time and my oh said enough was enough, gemma and me have cried our eyes out, i know we only had her a few weeks but she was a proper character. Gemma wants a dog she can call her own as our ebony has chosen my oh as her owner. But truly don't know what to do about getting another.

I'm so sorry it didn't work out. It's a hard thing to do.
If you want another why not get intouch with a rescue or welfare who will try there best to match a dog to you. They should have a full background on each dog they have and match one to you and your family.
Please dont take it bad. Sometimes in life things just dont work out.

I'm sorry Woofer, I know you'll be feeling sad but as Gems said that these things work out for the best. The dog that is right for you and vice versa will be around the corner in due course.

Big hugs!

aww woofer im so sorry i know how upset you must be!
but you did the best for the kids and for that you should be proud of yourself
my advice to you when getting a new dog is to get a very yound dog or a puppy so it grows with the kids, rescues often have pups needing rehomed
I hope you soon find a companion that is right for you and your family, you done the right thing hun, dont feel bad,, we are all here if you need a chat ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))

so sorry.
JRT's are a finicky breed at the best times, coming from an owner, lover, and from someone whose aunt bred them for nie on twenty years, i knwo the breed best out of anyone (sorry to be boastful) anyways they are a particular breed at the best time, but when a rescue JRT is homed it is particular hard, oru JRT was 6 months old when we got her from the rescue, she was a tiny reck.
She would snap, bite, attack, etc etc. With a LOT of hard work she came around, it took about 2 years say, that with her spinal problems they said she would have to be PTs as she would never walk again, we showed them.
it is a hard decsion to make, and i must admit i could not do it.
JRTs are a breed of lets say a flavoured taste, they can be the best dog you have ever owned or they can be minions sent directly from hell.
I suggest trying to go for a less highly strung breed next time.
I do feel so sorry for you, and sympathise with you deeply
Best wishes
