None meat menu

How often??

How often does one feed none meat items to a dog???

Can they get it as often as their meat like every day or jut a few times a week and slightly less offol to even it out??

What other things beside meat are important to add to their meals??

What can I use for treats/kong fillers if feeding a raw diet??

hopefully getting a table top freazer for my birthday ^^

Millie enjoyed her Bannana/yeo valley yogurt/Egg and half a clove of garlic this morning she is licking the bowl clean!

What about porrige??? Is this all right to give to puppies?? I could mix it with a yogurt as a different thing to egg for her breakfast.

If you are going raw then grains do not feature in the diet generally speaking.

Remember dogs have no need for carbohydrates, they get their energy (or should) from fat/oil) but many people feed porridgel

ps I will remember not to get a smoothie from you; fruit and garlic!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of what Ben cooked in "Outnumbered" last night!

Bananas is one thing that none of my dogs would ever eat, although they enjoy other fruit.

Millie has only turned up her nose at one food and that was a piece of orange my mum gave her, the dog chewed it a few times and ate it eventually but was not so enthusiastic about it as some of the things we have tried her with.

ps it was only half a clove! :>
She did reall enjoy it all of my chickens will eat garlic like its going out of fashion bar one hen but she has all ways been a fussy eater.

My dogs love garlic too, as do I , I just prefer to keep garlic and sweet things separate!

Many dogs do not like citrus fruits but adore all others.

Me too when it comes to my food but I like to mix things up a bit for the animalss since they arn't too bothered.

What fruits are suitable to give to dogs?? Millie loves apples and bannanas im thinking of breakfast ideas for her so she gets a change from wet food

All fruits bar grapes. Remember fruits are generally laxative though.........

Mine eat whatever is going, they also go blackberrying and will help themselves to strawberies and raspberries where available.

Obviously things that need to be cooked for us have to be cooked for dogs too eg rhubarb, gooseberries (thus mine do not have these as I am not a domestic goddess).
