Wonder what it was that it had caught? Reminds me of a cat toying with a catch.

well captured on film

It looked like a baby rabbit.
I'm certain it was dead by this point, not sure if it was when I first saw it

Fascinating.

I'm sure that's your pet fox and you just get it to pose for you.

I have only ever seen 1 fox in all my many years.

Hasn't Craven found you any?
I can almost guarantee to see a fox or two if I go out near dusk
I actually have 3 videos of that fox but that is the best one.

Nope, the only one I have seen Craven didn't spot it,but he got the scent of it.

I actually saw my first Hare the other day,he didn't see that either, but he was going round in circles for 20 minutes following the scent.

Was the hare fairly close to home?
We don't have any around home but there are quite a few on the South Downs, that's about 15 miles away

It was just in the next field to home,I took a picture, but it didn't come out.
I don't know how Craven missed it as it was in the middle of the field and Craven had gone passed it and the hare ran between us both to the edge of the field and through the hedge.
I hadn't seen it either until it moved.
