Hi from Sarah

Hi, my name is Sarah. I have a GSD, Belgian malinois and a GSDxMali pup. I am based in the UK and am interested in KNPV and ringsport. I hope to chat with like-minded people on the forum.

Hi, do you train in these sports in the UK? Which particular Ring Sport? French, Belgian or Mondio?

My GSD is now 6 so she is in semi-retirement! We are hoping to start training or at least getting involved in KNPV over in the Netherlands. Although there are about 3 people that do mondioring in the UK, it is a very closed group, and we just don't have the helpers here like over on the continent, so we are going to be doing frequent trips to the Netherlands and Germany!! Hoping to go to the KNPV championships on 2/3 Sept. Are you also interested in the sport? Are you doing anything in the UK? What dogs do you have?

Yes I am quite familiar with those who compete in Mondioring in the UK John of course came 2nd in the Belgian World Championships very recently and Adey and Ian have been training for some time in Mondio.

A busful of friends go over every year to the KNPV, once was enough for me.

I have an interest in Mondio but only seen the two demonstration competitions put on over here by John, not got the time, money or stamina to go train abroad every week or so!

I compete in Schutzhund and Working Trials.

John has a fantastic dog, we went up to see him a few times, up Birmingham way, however, very hard to get into over here with so few people doing it, so we have turned our sights to the Netherlands instead
