A great week for otters!

A bad week for sharks - of course I feel deeply for the family but lets hope it does not mean all out war on sharks.

Sharks are already persecuted for their fins, killed in their thousands, thats the sort of thing that needs stopping. As for Otters, they are becoming very widespread, they are even in our canals now.

At a nearby nature reserve Otters have made their home there, but to prevent scores of onlookers disturbing them it was never made public...until one of the local rags blundered and put it in print!

Saying that though, its always been a popular place for twitchers, dog walkers and ramblers so i guess they'll soon get used to seeing humans.

I've never seen one though sadly.
