How many litters...

....can you have in a year without needing a licence?

Does it vary from council to council or is there a set rule?

I believe it to be four litters per year but I would check with your council as they may have it different as a bylaw. I know it cheanged from bitches owned to Number of litter a few years ago.

The law says you need a licence if you have 5 or more litters a year but don't know if local bylaws can alter this.
