Full day, from 08:30 this am to 21:00 this evening.

Another two days, yippee.

I came on it last year too.

It was very enjoyable today, we spent the first part of the day on obedience and the second on protection.

These sort of events are open to all.

I would have loved to take Kofi along on a handler place, but I have only just arrived back in the UK. Maybe I can get on another one soon.

I think you will have to wait until next year for Mr Flinks...............
Had a lot of fun today with lots of different exercises other than the schutzhund ones, including me laying down at the foot of the A frame and my dog doing a hold and bark on Mr Flinks at the top!

I would be happy to go along to anything...

I am currently staying with my parents so until I am settled somewhere I can't join a club and I miss training.

Well I have just returned home from three great days with Mr Flinks.

He is very entertaining and, like most excellent trainers at high level, does not sugar coat anything but tells it like it is.

I was over the moon when, after doing a test of courage on three criminals plus a search and escort and a hold and bark and search, that he gave us a round of applause and said that if a civlian had that much control over a dog in this situation there is no excuse for police not to have this level of control over their dogs although in his experience many do not.

Made my day and course!

Chuffed to bits with my boy!

Great result, well done---what an indictment on the police though!

When I was a teenager it was a joke that the police dogs couldn't be called of a criminal and didn't do the long stay.

Obviously there were exceptions but mostly not.
