Homecooking, Dr Dodds Liver Cleansing Diet?

As people may know Rupert has a variety of problems mostly skin/digestive related it seems.

At the moment he is on raw but the why not to feed raw thread is making me wobble and worry I'm doing the wrong thing for him

In my heart I don't think he can ever go back to commercial food like kibbles/wet food. I still don't really know where they come from and tried so many eliminations I ended up wondering if its the way the food is manufactured which upset his belly or something. Whilst still not fantastic on raw, he is better.

The Dr Dodds diet is designed as a liver cleansing one but someone has suggested it could be something I try for Rupert and I would much prefer something like this than the Hills or Royal Canin Z/D/Sensitive diets my vets seem to like. They did say I could do fish and potato but it seems so unbalanced to try for a few months at a time...

This is the diet anyway, has anyone tried it/got any particular opinion?
