Flyball

Does anyone here do flyball? What do you think of it?

I was approached by a flyball team when I went to Bark in the Park with Jinty. Even though shes too young to take part, puppies are invited for socialisation for free.

I'm going to go on Thursday and take Jin with me to go and meet the dogs and hear the different noises etc.

Even if I don't take up flyball as a 'sport', I wasn't going to miss out on a free chance of socialisation.

doing it now.
did an initial 8 week beginners course.
use side netting to keep the dogs in lane.
took a few goes to catch on.
Initially its a bit like just point your dog and let fly.
More technical points after to work with other dogs in a team.
Obviously more of a team environment with flyball than agility.
Not backed up by any science there may be more injuries in flyball.
Getting the ball from the box can be too much direct contact
