Would Your Dog Eat You? (light hearted thread)

This is light hearted but a genuine question at the same time. If you were in a situation where there was no food available, with your dog, do you think your dog would eat you?

Not if I ate him first...................

I don't think they would, we have such a bond i think they'd die in their sleep of starvation next to me before they even thought of eating me, one would hope!

I would like to think they wouldn't kill me to eat me, but if I were already dead and was the only source for their survival, I would like for them to eat me. Purely hypothetical of course.

I think you can rest assured that dogs being the opportunistic animals they are, would not starve themselves rather than eat you!

After all, they eat their dead kennel mates (if you read any Welfare reports).

If they did not eat me (after I was dead) and then starved I would have to have a stern word in their ear.........

Pepper (13month old AmBull) would defo eat me, she's a fatty and will eat absolutely anything. Floyd (Rottie) would definitely not, he would whine so much he would pass through exhaustion lol

Ben would pull not happy faces about it but he still would - thats if Mia wasnt guarding my 1/2 eaten body

Kerrie would ask someone to peel me first (strange beastie...if she catches a bunny, she will eat it as is, if I give her a bunny/pigeon in its wrapper, she wont entertain it, till its unwrapped!) freak
