Zeffs first dog show

He was not overly impressed - but it is good for his people exposure - and as long as we can find somewhere a bit out of the way (we were about 20ft back from main group) he can settle and relax quite well.

And of course it helps when your best mate is with you!

However he does need pushing out of his comfort zone occasionally

So I took him into the best crossbreed class - after explaining to the Judge that he could not have people going over him. He was very good....no mess anywhere! And she obviously felt sorry for him!!

There are glimmers of him being able to cope one day. He was even fairly chilled about the Smalls who were about, a couple of ex class people came up to say Hi with their kids and although he watched - he remained relaxed (although I was careful not to let them crowd him)

Enough. Mainly from the kids although a few Adults, a couple asked me if he was a Saarloos, most just asked what he was.
Its worse in the garden to be honest - our garden has a lane down one side (length ways) which is a bridle path leading to a pub! He paces up and down watching people sometimes - which creates the comments.

Bless his little heart, I think he did very well, not only coping with the crowds but to get a place in the class too, you must be very proud of the dear little lad

Well done Zeff I think these fun dog shows are great for socialising both canine and human for them. Glad you all had a good day
