We had Kangoos, then Berlingos as company vans.

I think they're both rubbish, but they were hammered.

We have just changed the vans to VW Caddys.

I'm hopeful they are a little more reliable.

I had a top of the range Peugeot Partner a few years ago, and I found it a superb vehicle.

Both the Berlingo range and the Peugeot Partner range have the same body (like SEAT and FORD GALAXY) etc and both have the advantage of having possibly the best diesel engine there is, the Peugeot.

I looked at the Kangoo at the time but it did not have the spec of the Peugeot or Berlingo both in terms of engine (renault) make or size.

I had the version with the panoramic roof and all the storage area in the roof which was superb. Fantastic visibility, plenty of headroom for the dogs and stowage area.

I had a bespoke cage made for me by Barnesbrook which was larger than the Barjo and much cheaper.

I bought it on line for <£2k less than the showroom price and sold it for more than I bought it a few months later when I got a company car, I would have another one in a heartbeat, unfortunately this is not on my list of Co cars.

For company leasing, there was only a few quid in it

I used to drive a Kangoo van at work and we have Kangoo's and Berlingo's as work vans at my current place. The Berlingo wasnt a turbo diesel and was painfully slow. It's the longest serving van, had the most hammer but it's still going.

As Smokeybear said, the Citroens and Peugeots share the same engines and are very good, Renault have their own which is less reliable but i'm a Renault fanatic so I do like them and are familiar with them.

TBH, all have virtually the same shell so there is probably not much between all 3 except the pros and cons of engine reliability.

I have a diesel Partner which has been a brilliant practical, reliable, workhorse and taxi for the dogs. When it dies I will get another one.
