can anyone tell me the average price of a boxer puppy i just spoke to someone and they said 750 just wanted to know if thats about right

That is quite expensive. Is that a show quality puppy?

£500 is about average.

i was thinking about £500/600 i have not heard any going for £750 but there not my breed so i dont know

i found when looking to buy a lab the prise can vary we had price from £300-£800

Id also say 500, i personally dont think any more than 600 even for show quality pups!

I would think so We were searching for a puppy at the beginning of the year and found most breeders were around £500 - 550 in Scotland.

thankx carole can i ask what breeders you went to or ended up going to ?
i have just missed some litters with the people in the surrounding glasgow areas and the rest are as far away as aberdeen did you have to travel as far as that?

Hi, i paid £800 for my little Millie...(Boxer) she was from a top showing kennel, but saying that you should not pay any more for a pet or show dog. But i would say you should be paying between £ 500/ £700 tops depending on the breeder.

One thing i will say though is dont be looking at the price first, the most important thing to concider is whether the breeder has done the relevent health checks for the breed, most importantly " heart murmur" you dont want a puppy from parents that have a "grade of more than a 1", make sure you ask these questions.

Temperament of parents/ heart grading of parents/


Also go with your gut feeling when you speak to the breeder, he/she should be willing to answer any questions you have, if the dont then walk away.

Write all your questions down first so you wont forget.
