Snowdrops

Just a few of the many growing in the garden...it's over run with them!

My favourite flower. I use to have lots of them at one of the houses I lived in a few years ago looking forward to having a big enough garden again one day to grow some more.

Thanks for sharing.

I love Snowdrops, but mine are no way as advanced as yours.Infact all my plants seem to develop later than surrounding gardens.

ps.Dont ever divide them like you would with Daffs.I did once and it took 5 years for them to start flowering again.

I did that once too and wished I had not I do not think they like to be distrubed, can't recall if mine took so long to reflower as Steve's as I did not notice the lack of them first year, then thought I had planted them too deep. But yes mine took a while. But fine now and if I want more I buy new bulbs.

They really did throw a hissy fit at me Karen! Now i just leave them be and let them spread on their own because last thing i want are plants with bad attitude.

Infact i have a bamboo which has migrated to my neighbours garden.Grows great on their side of fence and gives a nice tropical look with its big strappy leaves, but obviously didnt like mine.
