Kong Wubba

Just been looking at dog toys and seen the Kong Wubbas.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the standard and the water Wubba? Are they covered in different materials?

How tough are the squeakers?

I don't know the difference but the ordinary wubba is one of the first toys we got Tilly & it's just about on it's last legs, which is pretty good for nearly 2 years of tugging & pulling & being left in the garden for days on end!,she did burst the ball & squeak inside very quickly but didn't rip the material until recently, it's like a ribbed canvas. so quite strong I'm going to buy her a new for Xmas, well worth the money & also try & make my own version with fleece & a tennis ball & see how that goes

Water Wubbas are sort of Wetsuit material....

Lasted 1 walk with Gabe I have taken the original ones out and they have floated.....but would not guarantee them.

Did not think the water ones had a Squeak?

But the others have managed well (althought not been allowde out all the time)

Iv bought my 2 a wubba for xmas. It seems very tough, which is a must for my boys, so should hopfully last alot longer.

All I know is the water one is supposed to dry quick, so wont be all soggy

The water wubba is covered in neoprene (like a wet suit) and doesn't squeak.
Skye wasn't over keen on hers she loves her normal wubba, and her snugga wubba too altough Drift has chewed the tails off the normal one!!
They have just brought out a new one ....a tugga wubba, which i might get my two Collies for Chrimbo

Monty mangled his kong wubba. It took him 5 mins and he had the material stuff off - the small top bit in shreds (it looked like it was just a cheap tennis ball~) and then ignored the rest of it.

The best toy i had for him is a small rubber rugby ball - he's actually had it from pup and its now split down the seam but he still loves it and i can't find one the exact same. Gutted.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but someone gave Jake the normal one coz it is tough and she thought it would be great for him... it lasted 20 minutes

I have seen a few in pet shops near me... Have you tried Kong's website?

From what I have seen, the dogs have pretty much destroyed them.

...mine only had one for the duration of the walk and it was done!!

Mind you - he has big jaws and he chomps as he runs!!

I am Constantly on the look out for toys that float and are (relatively) indestructible....I have to say....so far so good with the Hurly....He has made some teething marks on it - but its been going a year now.
