My poor husband!!!

I rarely cook. But I thought I would tonight. It's not looking or smelling good!!!

Ingredients:
Cider
Chicken fillets
Ground allspice
Butter
Apples
Mushrooms
Tarragon
Cream

Fortunately, I don't eat meat so I won't have to try it!

It's from one of those Waitrose everyday recipe cards and they call it: Sauteed chicken with cider and tarragon.

I have actually followed the recipe to the letter but I think I would call it: Fried chicken with mulled cider and tarragon.

Oh well! It's the thought that counts!

It might be really, really good but just smells horrible to a non-meat eater. Godd for you for giving it a go!!

I will report back with results. It will either be a response from hubby or dogs! If the dogs don't like it, then I have really failed!!

He ate a portion of it!!!! and was very polite about it. But - he is an absolute sweetie ... so could all be rubbish. Will try dogs out on left-overs tomorrow in their breakfast! That will be the real test!!
