I'd like to introduce my new baby

This little lad was delivered by elective c-section at just under 39 weeks on 17 August, weighing 6 lbs 14 oz. We're calling him Michael. I was determined not to spend a long time in hospital so managed to get them to let us go the following day, armed with a big bag of painkillers.

The baby is doing really well, sleeping and feeding, as they do and adored by his sister. Parents too, of course. I'm a bit battered but recovering - the hardest thing is not being able to go for walks, although I managed a 'round the block' today.
