Forum name tells all!

Hi all,

I'm Kirsty and my husband and I are lucky enough to share our lives with Scruff who is a beautiful, if a little neurotic, 4 1/2 year old chocolate lab x german wirehaired pointer. He is a rescue dog and came with the usual list of issues at 2 1/2 years and we have just celebrated 2 years as a family.



when he first came he was very skinny from 5 months of kennel stress at the local pound and hadn't got a clue about walks, cars, toys even bones where something to fear.



but he soon got the hang of it all and learnt how to wrap us round his paws (especially me!)



He is still rather anxious with men when inside any building and anyone coming suddenly too close, he has been on Zylkene (vet recommended) for 4 months and this seems to be taking the edge of it. Most of the time he is a happy, confident, cuddlemonster who we couldn't live without.
