Dog walking friends - huddersfield area

Hi
Does anyone live in the huddersfield area and fancy meeting up for a dog walk?
My young pointer is getting upset with some of the miserable owners in my area who just want to rush home instead of letting their dogs play (I have told him that being a little bit calmer might help but he is just so excited to meet everyone!)
Anyway if any of your dogs fancy a good run around and play time please give me a shout
Sarah

Shame you live so far away, otherwise me and my mad girl would be well up for that! I know what you mean with most dogs not appreciating their enthusiasm.

Hope you can meet some nice folks.

Thanks for the reply labradork, its a shame indeed, would have loved to have met yours
I have to say some of the dogs near me seem more than happy to play with him but the owners arent as keen....I dont understand that really cos its lovely to watch when dogs are having fun. Im having to pay a dog walker to take him out with a group at the mo so he gets some decent interaction with other dogs when I would much prefer to do more of it with me there. Hope fully someone will live nearby and fancy meeting up

I know this is quite an old post now but thought i would give it ago anyways, Im looking for a outgoing dog who can teach and keep up with my spaniel during play. Most dogs seem to get bored to quickly and he begins barking at them. I need a dog who will play with him and tire him out before the barking sets in. Dont worry, hes not nasty or nippy, just barks and bounces around like 'hey! come on lets go!' he loves being chased or chasing others.

You will get to be able to PM after posting a few times (not sure how many) and Im not sure if Im allowed to put contact details on a forum....try emailing me at sarahkmit (at) gmail.com and we can sort something out.

I have woods and farmers fields behind my house so usually walk there but I take my dogs (I have an old collie too) to work with me and drive through brighouse on my way home so it would be easy enough to meet up. It would be great to let them play and run off steam
Im away for a few days but will check on here and email when Im back
