RSPCA officers raid a filthy ANIMAL SANCTUARY

I don't like the sun newspaper and I certainly don't like the rspca. But I wanted you all to look at the article, and see how nice and clean those dogs are.
Many of the 25 caged dogs were hungry and dehydrated, covered in filth and forced to live in their own faeces

It does also say 'Many of the 25 caged dogs were hungry and dehydrated, covered in filth and forced to live in their own faeces as their ageing owner failed to cope.'

Many would mean not all. It could just be that the dogs In the photo were not Included In that many! Because them 3 dogs do look to have nice coats, but we dont know about fleas, worms ect!

Either way no dog should be left to live in such minging conditions.

I agree they shouldn't no. but it does make one wonder,
was it as bad as what they say or is just another lie from the rspca and the well known daily liar

i helped rescue a pony that escaped from this place running on the main road couple weeks back

the pony was underfed and the site was pretty ramshackle and the chap was well meaning but elderly.

the pc who tipped them off is probably the one we called at the time, so he probably started an inestigation and set wheels in motion that resulted in the raid.

south mimms RSPCA is near me

Im not doubting that something wasn't found as Krusewalker says, maybe also being The Sun, they only got a picture of one of the kennels without any dogs, so they have superimposed the picture by adding too using 3 dogs................that wouldn't be the first time with papers

For the state of the kennel those dogs don;t look like they have ever been there, as thier feet would at least be covered in something

no, it was a rough old pikey camp.

there is no sinister dodgy dealings going on.

its not even a sun story, they just syndicated it from my local paper.

its just a old man getting out of his depth.

these things have alwasy happen in rescue, thats why the ADCH introduced rescue licensing as part of the Animal welfare act, but that that clause hasnt come into effect yet.

The floor to the kennel area looks filthy but the dogs look well kept.

Hatfield is not too far away from where I live.

Funny how they can find time to raid another sanctuary (not condoning animals kept in bad conditions) but when was the last time they raided a puppy farm? There is loads of video evidence on the net about the disgusting state these dogs are kept in yet not a peep from the RSPCA.
Still when I reported my landlady to them for starving and matted dogs they just said that they'd seen worse!
