Hi from Canada...
My name is Sylvia. I've owned dogs all my life and intend to continue until I die. Over my lengthy lifetime, I've always had dogs around me.When we were kids, my parents had Cocker Spaniels.
When I left home, my life was empty without dogs, so I quickly began picking some. So far, I've had:
-2 American Eskimo Spitzs
-1 lab/chow mix
-1 Pomeranian
-1 Belgian Shepherd (Malinois), my current dog.
-3 of these dogs came from the pound.
-the Pom came from a fancy pet store
-my first Spitz came from a puppy mill - before I even knew what they were. He was a fantastic dog that lived a happy, healthy life for 16+ years. He turned out to be the love of my life.
My lab/chow was the most lovable and adorable dogs I've ever met. Great sense of humor, loved to play, loved to tease the Spitz and flaunt herself in front of him. Loved to be with me - and I with her.
My dogs are my life. I can't imagine life without them.
