Stick pics!

this was the second part of jakes walk from the water pics thread, but i didnt want to do too much of a pic overload in the one thread so split them lol. jake dragged this stick... or more branch... out of the water, after snapping it off a tree hanging over the water it then provided him with a lot of fun...

Well done Jake - that's quite a haul !

I remember throwing what I would describe as a twig in our local canal for my last Springer - what I didn't realise was it landed right next to a huge half submerged branch/log.

Being ever keen to please Beau struggled to the point of exhaustion trying to bring me back half a tree.

At first it was amusing but he wouldn't give up - I was very close to jumping in to stop him trying to 'please' me lol

oh he sounds just like jake! he has some determination lol, which it sounds like beau did too i think its so cute when they want to 'please' us

Lovely pics. Tilly is the same. Her and Lily tried to drag half a tree out of a ditch recently. Why our doggies cant just have small sticks, I dont know!

thanks i have no idea! i tried distract him with smaller sticks but he was having none of it... it took us about 10 minutes to leave the park coz he was determined to take it home but couldnt get it out the gate

thanks he sure does.

i dont normally, and that was the only time. i was going to use his gentle leader as one to get muddy in the park (and keep his dogmatic all nice), but i didnt realise how much the bit the lead clips on to dangles, so dont want it catching on anything.
