Every thing is coming back to life.

I took these today while I was walking the dogs, as I needed something to do while I was waiting to go and pick up Harmony

Anyone have any idea what these are called?

A close up.

Lovely photos. It's so heartwarming to see all the new shoots, isn't it?

Lovely pictures

I'm sorry I don't know what the last ones are called, I have some very similar looking things in green, but aren't sure what they're called either

I spent some time in the garden today and I was surprised to see how much was coming through, my peonies for my wedding!

Blimey! good job I don't let the dogs in the front garden where they're growing!!! If they were in the back garden the dogs would be long gone

Beautiful - I can only dream of having a camera as good as yours!

The first one is woundwort perhaps?
Yes the latter ones are Horsetails. Don't worry about them being poisonous to dogs- if you knew exactly how many wild plants out there are/could be/might be poisonous to dogs you would never let your dogs out again. (I do know, and it's really not an issue).

Thankfully dogs are sensible and don't usually go around nibbling stuff!

Was that Hawthorn in bloom? Well you know what they say, Ne'er cast a clout til the May is out... meaning the May (Hawthorn) blossom. You can leave your thick winter coats indoors once you see that blossom as Spring is truly Sprung.

Or it might have been Blackthorn in bloom - spring is late this year because of the snow we had. I remember last Easter when the hedgerows in Somerset were one mass of blackthorn in bloom. Shame I didn't get down there at the right time to gather sloes, it would have been a bumper year.

Thanks everyone . and Merlinsmum, right now you can have my camera I'm going to have to send it somewhere to get it cleaned out or something, as some dirt has got trapped behind the lens and I can't get it out, mind you I've now had it nearly a year, and it only cost me around %50-60 from argos, so I don't think that I can complain too much .
