My Son Is A Real Star

Thanks to my son I am now mobile again and my dear old car has a new lease of life.
Everything went at once. The suspension went, the exhaust went, the clutch needed adjusting the oil was disgusting so needed changing. I honestly thought I was back on my bike as no way could I afford the garage prices to have it all done, especially as my insurance and road tax is due this month.
My son works for a car parts firm, so picked my car up Friday night and left his here for me to use. He bought the suspension springs, the exhaust, the oil and everything to give it a complete service on his staff discount and then has spent 2 solid days working on it.
I went to pick it up tonight and he has even washed and waxed it for me.
Total cost £80 Goodness knows how much a garage would have charged for all that and I wouldn't have had a courtesy car and wash and wax thrown in.
The only thing I need to do now is get one new tyre and have the tracking done.
I think I really owe him big time now.
