Poor little pup dumped in the mud.... ;)

Took the woofers for a very muddy, very windy walk earlier. It was incredibly wet and both dogs were covered in mud within minutes of getting out of the car!

We only met a few other people braving the weather (and the mud!) and one lady had 3 very clean looking springers. We had a chat and she assured me that they would all need hosing down by the end of the walk. I was just amazed at how clean they looked when my 2 looked like they were auditioning for next years grubbiest dog award!!

Lily decided to do her very best 'I was dumped in a field, alone and afraid' impression here...



...and again here. Although her snazzy pink collar ruins the look somewhat!



Dylan just wanted to play with his ball and was totally oblivious to Lily's acting skills!



When we got home both dogs had to be bathed as they were filthy! (Personally I think Tilly has corrupted the pair of them! )

Oh I was rolling about laughing at those photo's, bless those poor tiny paws in all that mud

See Dylan being typical collie just hasn't noticed....I have a tribe here like that the more mud the better

Oh that poor ill treated little pup. How could you drag her out in such awful weather!! Mind you, if Tilly was there things would have been different. They'd all have been doing triple somersaults into the ditch!!

I couldn't believe how quickly Dylan got himself so filthy! The photo doesn't really do him justice but he was dripping with mud at one point!!

Will she be auditioning for Toto????

Well you've seen first hand how she is mistreated! She did nearly get blown away, it was sooo windy!! We were at Goring again and it was far muddier than Sunday. Tilly would have loved it!! Their water hole had filled up too so I kept them both away as even Dylan would have had to swim in it cos it was so deep!! I could just imagine Tilly taking a flying leap into it again though!!

Only if Toto is a shivering wreck!! Think we'll leave that role to Roxy!
