How do you change the name of a link?

rather than seeing the address, I want to rename the link but I can't seem to do it on Dogsey?

I can do it in a word document but I don't seem to have the facility to edit a link when on the web?

I tried copying the renamed link from a word document, but then it doesn't register that it is a link.

I've wondered how to do that before too! Be interesting to hear how to.
