Public Awareness Slogan?

Got me thinking after the article about that woman breeding her 7 year old bitch about how many people just don't realise that what they are doing is wrong.

The slogan 'A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas' has not stopped everyone going out and getting a puppy for Christmas, but I think it is a well known slogan and has definitely made many people think.

However, personally these days I think there are other messages that need to be got across - ones that last all year round.

So if you could have one new slogan adopted to try and make the general public aware, what would it be?

well I suppose you could always do the 'shock' tactic type slogan.

I'm still trying to think of mine as well...I'm torn between something on puppy farms and something about breeding your dog because you feel like it.

Maybe something with pictures of dogs in the pound (with a litter of pups), and saying something about it may seem like a harmless idea to breed with your dog but when they end up here is it worth it?? And have some statistics on it
That was better than my first thought of WTF were you thinking?? oh thats right you werent
