I do get some funny comments when i am out with the boxers and Tia my little terrier cross ..but the combo works for us
My question is do you think there are ideal breed combos ?
Or do you know of any other unusual packs ..Murf

There is someone who comes training with me with a Pug and Boxer....they seem to do very well.

Most people I know with 'odd' packs have not done so deiberately!

I think that terriers and sighthounds go together well, but thats no surprise really is it?

I've also seen a Rottie and a tiny Japenese chin together, (the owners said that the JC weighed all of four pounds) and they made a good couple which I think is a bit wierd.

My retriever x and my border collie go well together. They are both high energy dogs so they both go out for long walks together.

I think Goldens and Cavaliers go well together because they're both of a similar temperament ie. completely laid back.

I guess my two gundog breeds and my little toy terrier are a bit of an odd combo. I rarely take them out together though, so never had any comments about my "variety pack".

I used to have 2 Mini Schnauzers, then 2 Mini Schnauzers and a Labradoodle, now I have one Mini Schnauzer and 2 Labradoodles.

All these combinations worked as the Mini Schnauzer bitch was the boss. After she died I got a second Labradoodle bitch and I can't decide if Daisy had been alive if these would have been best of friends or enemies.

Both have similar temperaments and Ruby at 8 months old I thought was the boss, but if my Mini Schnauzer male is feeling grumpy and tells her off when she backs down

My Uncle used to have a chi called Tyson and a newf called Chief, we did look funny walking down the road, especially as I wanted to hold Chiefs lead, so my Uncle had to hold Tysons!!

I have two German Shepherds and my neighbour has a Corgi, they seem to do very well together when playing.

Same dog, different bodies.. lol.

Both herding dogs, high energy, "durable", prey driven, just awsome combination.
