Liver cake!

Have finally worked up the courage to buy some liver so tomorrow I will be making liver cake :smt078 in the morning and increasing the distractions for Archie's recall in the afternoon!!

I'm feeling ambitious enough to set him up for a recall when there's another dog around now... he has been doing so well lately! So I hope the stinky liver cake will help (thanks SB for the recipe - I'm not brave enough to try the sardine cake yet!!)

oh Tuti you're brave I hate the smell of liver - I've got a friend that cooks my dogs every week some liver 'cause I can't do it

Teagan is brilliant when I use liver cake for training!

It doesn't actually smell that much when it's cooking (I HATE liver! Yuck!).
Although, I think the garlic overpowers it! lol

OMG :smt078

It stinks worse than anything, and Archie is going mental

He has been crying in the kitchen since I got the liver out

I made the sardine cake on Friday for Finn. Works wonders for the training. A lot better than normal treats

I had 2 dogs sitting at the oven door

I've come up to hide in my room but I can still smell it up here!!! It will be worth it though to see Archie's face when they come out of the oven, I think he thinks it's human food and he's not getting any, that's why he's crying

I would rather use sardines than liver yuk :smt078 :smt078
