Minnie Gremlin crossed the Bridge today

I am devastated to tell you that my little Minnie Gremlin, my hairless Yorkie, was put to sleep today at 12.30 pm.

She has been in heart failure for some time, but with the drugs she was on, she managed a good quality of life, and being a little fighter, she made the most of it.

Today, however, after a few minutes enjoying the warm sunshine and pottering happily in the garden, she suddenly went down and could not breathe. I was at the vets with her within minutes, and she was put to sleep while I held her head and gave her kisses.

I knew it was coming, but it is still a shock and the house seems very, very empty without her, especially her "throne" (an old armchair she made her own).

God bless you Minnie - love you loads, miss you loads more. Find Leah and be happy.
