Another Gem From My MIL

Some of you may remember that my dear Mother-In-Law comes out with some classics that crack me up laughing.

We took her out on a day trip the other day and got talking about the war & stuff (as you do). She mentioned about the food people ate and how long food had to last people back then. Then came the classic.....

"sometimes their bread was that stale it had weasels in it"

She cracks me up, she really does!! It was ages before I could tell her that I think she meant weevils!!!

LOL What are they like?!

I went out for a meal with my mum a few weeks ago, we were ordering drinks and she asked the waitress for a J LO!!!

Once me and the waitress had stopped laughing we explained it was actually called a J2O!!!
