Is Marmite OK for my dog?

My lab just loves Marmite. Is it OK to give him a little bit sometimes? He goes all silly when he sees the jar!

Thanks.

Mmmmmm! Toast & Marmite! We once had a cat that insisted on sharing ours at breakfast time, and my rats have always gone mental for some too.

An ex-police dog/security dog handler recommended using marmite on toast for training to me once, if it's good enough for him its good enough for me

Yes, you are right! But Marmite!

In fact I have been doing some 'sniffer' work with him as he is a workaholic I might smear some on some kibble and hide it around the garden! He keeps me busy but I love him

Not sure how old your boy is but i would be a little careful if he is a young dog or elderly dog as marmite is very high in salt which may be too much for a pups kidneys to cope with.
