Boycie, German Spitz type, 18 months old
Boycie, German Spitz type, 18 months old
His Story: Boycie was bought at 8 weeks, passed on 4 weeks later. Stayed with a very busy family until recently then passed on to a family who sold him via the free ads. Came into fostered with 2 young children and has gained confidence.
Salient points: Beautiful dog who has been living within a very busy family with all age range of children, rabbits and Collie pup. Taunted by children and can freeze if voices are raised. Less hand-shy than when he first came into foster.
Advert: Boycie is a German Spitz type, born in Feb 08 and since been through 3 homes. Boycie was taken into foster at the end of June having been 'sold in the local paper'. He hasn't been the 'precious pooch' like so many dainty dogs of this breeding. He has grown up within a large family with other animals. More or less in the background without regular walks, grooming or training. Boycie has shown how adaptive he is and has taken advantage of the opportunities his foster family have offered him and done himself and everyone on-looking proud.
Boycie landed on his 4 paws. He has gained confidence living with respectful children, learned to walk well on the lead and becoming less anxious on meeting strangers or new situations. He meets dogs well and is gaining more skills on regular walks. He is smiling and oh yes even laughing on occasions. He has been groomed, neutered, fully vax'd, wormed and flea treated. "He has so much to give and is so loving. Loves to play with the kids and does miss them when we drop them off at school." Yes Boycie is now ready for his forever home who can continue to give him confidence in new beginnings and the life he was born to lead.
