Miracle-Gro...Is it safe?

I've just put down Miracle-gro on my lawn. I checked the box and it didn't mention whether it is safe for pets to walk on once applied. Does anyone know if I should keep Olive off the lawn or is it OK for her to go on. The reason I ask is I thought I had read somewhere about dogs reacting to Miracle-gro, but can't remember where I saw it.

The vast majority of the lawn feed/weed treatments are safe around pets & children-with the exception of 'lawn sand'-which isnt actually sand at all,but 2 granular chemicals called ferrous sulphate & ammonium sulphate. The reason this isnt safe with pets is because of a high percentage in the mixture (but is very good for lawns).

Soluble is the safest and the only problem with granular types is when you walk over the lawn,it then sticks to your shoes and stains carpet. If yours was granular and no rain falls within a couple of days-give it a good watering.

Tuti, here's hoping , my lawn is in a terrible state, it looked like a meadow this morning before I started mowing it (although by "I", I really mean Kevin ). Now that it's been cut it is just yellow stalks rather than grass - not very pretty.

Olive you might need to spread some grass seed before you use the miracle gro

My mum is obsessive about her lawn so I've picked up a few things

btw Olive if you have a lot of bald spots you can also plant the grass somewhere else as well as on the bald bits, in little clumps and then use the little clumps to fill in the bald spots once they've grown
