Is it safe to give to a dog? no risk of the dog getting salmonella is there?

My dogs get a raw egg 2-3 times a week. No problems here
You can give the shell as well which is a good source of calcium.

My dogs also get raw eggs a couple of times a week. The shell is also very good for them as others have said. Keeps the coat lovely & shiny too.

Teagan gets raw eggs.
I have to crack them for her, otherwise she can't seem to do it herself! She carries it in her mouth (full), and keeps dropping it, but it never breaks!

I have heard of decreased biotin levels in dogs that are fed raw egg white - although I admit I do not know how much raw egg this involves.

I've always given Abe one egg per week which makes his coat glossy, but shall now also give him the shell after reading this.
Cheers!

I too have always given my staffies raw egg in shell. The first is always the funniest watching them trying to "crack it". Maizie loves them!!
