Water bowl help

Right Ela's new trick to be a pest is to pick up the water bowl and empty its contents all over my floor! I am getting fed up to comming home to a swimming pool and Poor cassie is always dying for a drink when i come home.

Any ideas on how i can stop the little B****r? The bowl they have now is a large heavy ceramic one BTW.

sorry shouldnt laugh but i had this with one dog in particular but she loved to dig in the water to splosh it everywhere.
No great advice apart from the usual, putting a large stone in the bowl so its even heavier so harder to spill, but it sounds like she is pretty determined to spill it if your already using a heavy ceramic bowl
If you know anyone handy at DIY you could get them to build you a sort of water box where you can sit the water dish in...but its sturdy enough that the dog can't tip it over...

I've got the same with the new one, and I've now resorted to a 99p B & Q bucket, which is tied to a unit in the corner via a dogcollar! Well, if it works don't knock it! So far it HAS worked, although the feet still go in there, but not half as bad as flooding my kitchen every 5 mins!

Ela and Kismet, separated at birth??? Kismet likes to fill the waterbowl with bones, toys and blankets... Everyone goes thirsty...

We're considering trying one of these:

I'll let you know how we get on

Also wondering about:

Anybody ever tried these? Are they any good? Will they help?

It does look good but i am guessing she will have to wait until her birthday to get it! £57 is a lot for a water bowl . . . Still her birthday is on the 04 April so she wont have long to wait.
