Crufts - Top Survival Tips

Yesterday, after a particulary stressful day, I booked a hotel and bought 2 tickets for Crufts for me and my 8yr old son
I have never been before so I thought I would start thread for people to post their tips on how to enjoy the day to the max and what to avoid.
So has anyone got anything they can share, for either people who are showing or us spectators(sp), which they learnt on previous visits?

Definitely wear comfy shoes or suffer that terrible condition 'Crufts foot'!!

Take lots of money if possible (you won't be able to resist!)

Take a packed lunch.

Try not to drink too much, otherwise you will queue up for ages to go to the loo!

Enjoy!

Comfy shoes, take your own munchies and empty your bladder before you go

Agree with the others but would also take a mp3 player with a stress management file on it!!! Learn to count to 10 and practice taking deep breaths LOL

when i went i found food so expensive, so like the other have said, take ur own.
give urself lots of time as you cant move very fast due to crowds.
hope you enjoy it, it really is wonderful but it is also very stressful.

if you want to visit discover Dogs..do it early ..the earlier the better , and do the breed s that are popular first.

Any shopping again do it early.

Plenty of money , good comfy shoes.. and make sure you mobiles are charged up..it is easy to get lost from each other .

When visiting the benches.. with dogs on, please ask before you touch....the dogs may look cute and want fussing, but some exhibitors do not like strangers petting their dogs.

If you want to ask exhibitors questions, make sure they are not about to go in the ring...

The food situation is alwasy the worse... finding som, ewhere to eat... if possible take a packed lunch... and plonk yourself down (on the floor ) somewhere to eat it...will save you loads of time.

Other than that...enjoy!!!!!!!what day you going on.

Take food and drink.

Take LOADS of money!
