Malinois????

GSDR Scotland have been asked to help with this poor mite. I think, from this pic at least, the dog looks like a Mali - albeit a very thin and neglected one .

All the info I have at the moment is that we are looking for foster home asap. She is about 1 year old, she does not like other dogs at all at the minute but is in desperate need of tlc, possibly best with someone who is at home all the time at the minute.

If you can help, please PM me.

Fingers crossed someone will turn up.

Definately a mali..working line by the looks of it (huge ears are a giveaway)

Is she full on aggressive with dogs and bitches? Could be just that she is very frightened...an experienced foster with the facilities to keep seperate from other dogs will hopefully come along...such a specialist breed.

The poor girl looks identical to my girl (a lot thinner obviously)
They are fabulous Dogs if you are willing to put the work in.
Mine was made fear reactive due to a "friends" Dog grabbing her...but she's fine now. I'm sure in time, this girl would become confident....in the right home.
I don't know any Dog free homes to suggest.

Whilst I've never had a Mali before, and from that pic that's exactly what she is, I do know quite a lot about them. I may be in a position to foster her in a couple of weeks time but can't say for definite at the minute.

My concerns are the main breeder I know of who breeds mals (in East Lothian), or who did, some were quite dog aggressive (genetic) which is a problem for me! That's not to say this dog is of course.

I currently have a gsd, a jrt and a cat which I would like to integrate her with sooner as opposed to later although I will have the space to separate if required. Will need a lot more info on her, Liz knows me, I did volunteer for a bit a couple of years ago.

Magic - I only have really limited info at the moment on this bitch. Would it be possible for you to give Liz a ring and discuss with her???
