Thursday 29th December 2022

Morning all. Hope you all are feeling better this morning. If not get well soon. Maybe a New Year will bring better things for us all. Kazz and Kelly maybe you could both come together? Mind you I have no where to put you for sleeping only the floor. Although Kelly maybe your brother would let you stay at his house in Hastings. Its down the road from me, well a bit.
I have put the empties out now. My New Year resolution is to get back on the diet and make Margaret do it as well. Hope you all have a peaeful day.

Good morning Brenda. Pleased you enjoyed your day yesterday. Christmas is for forgetting about diets and then we all start again in the New Year and have a whole year to be ready for next Christmas

Do hope you will soon fell better ~Kelly and you told Chris and Dave. ~This bug is very nasty and seems to take a long time to recover dddproperly. Ben is still not 100per cent, up one minute down the next.

Kazz I do the school runs and Barry stays and looks after Teazle.

Lovely here this morning. Teazle walked, a ham and turkey pie made ready to cook tomorrow, have also washed the coat I wear everyday. Why did I buy a.light blue one it shows all the dirt round the cuffs and pockets . It is getting old so will have a look round after the New Year for another but this time it will be darker

Take care everyone

Morning brenda, Sue and all to follow.
Over looking after Freya today, then New years day then it gets a little easier as she does nursery one day a week from the 4th. We have said though if things don't work out for whatever reason we will pick up Wednesday again.
When the puppy arrives we will be doing alternate days, we will be doing one Sunday in 8 Lauren's mum will do one too.
Her dad and his wife did say they would help but then decided over Christmas it was inconvenient having to get up early and drive over, no matter the hours we have put in they are all younger than us to.
So we have decided this Sunday may clash with Bernese garden parties and a carting club we hope to join.
Freya will have to come with us and stay in the caravan we can't give up what we would like to do to babysit and because some are in my opinion selfish.
This is our last chance for a dog or puppy in our life and to have the time to pursue the carting and possible therapy dog route now we are retired.
So that's the option if they need us a particular weekend and it clashes.
It's hard for people trying to raise a family now not sure what can be done.
Cheaper child care would be an option. Or one being able to earn enough so one could be at home raising the family, can't see either of those happening soon.

I don't think Lauren considered the trials of babies, working part time and being in retail.

brenda good luck with the diet I tend not to diet just eat a little more sensibly, I get fed up with diets.
griff hope you are feeling better and Steve.
Chris hoping you and Dave are feeling better. If not that you start to make a recovery soon.
Kazz yes I guess he was going stir crazy. Just hoping he doesn't make himself worse.
Enjoy all the socialising.

I am always centred when I decide to go on one so new year and away I go.
Watching Still open all hours. A sentence just said "She's going on a blind date as soon as she finds someone" .

Open all hours a classic.
Well done brenda. If I actually make a point of dieting I soon give up so I have the attitude of eating less of the bad things.
I did a quiz many years ago which told you if you were calorie or carbohydrate sensitive.
So I went on a low carb high protein diet similar to the Atkins diet, it was hard work but I shed pounds in weeks.
I don't do it now life's too short but it has made me aware of what piles the pounds on for me so I adjust.

Brenda, I would book into a hotel if/ when I come..... don't think I would dare stay at my brother's place, he has wool carpets that cost several thousand pounds.
Lynn, I think that Freya would probably love coming away overnight with you on a carting weekend. I must say, I am quite disgusted by the behaviour of Lauren's family towards Freya, it's one day and you and Gorden do the rest, my mum and dad would kill for grandchildren and I know that they would be delighted to help, even if it was just one day or night. I spent tonnes of time with my mum's mum and before her dad died...him too, we adapted to nan and grandad and we went wherever they were going. Grandad actually suggested that mum return to work and offered to take us to school and pick us up afterwards, that was very much appreciated. As I say, Freya would love the caravan and I don't see why you should have to give up everything you had planned when you are already doing more than your fair share.
Sue, I have a denim jacket and that's exactly the same, predominantly clean but mucky pockets and cuffs.
Dropped stew off at Steve's, I asked yesterday did he want me to get anything whilst I was in town...no, so called this morning to say I was just about to leave and did he want anything?? Molly needs treats so I said I would just nip to Sainsbury's...they don't have what she likes, so I had to go to Wilko and then walk down to the bus....done now and she will be happy....also got him some suet blocks for his wild birds

Well, he survived my cooking lol. Gave my dad back the money he gave for Steve's electric plus £10 for running me over there while Steve's been ill. I can't afford the money but it doesn't sit right with me taking his money when he is behaving the way he is.....he is back to being upstairs with his phone again, it wasn't on charge either as when I went in to give him some food he was asleep with the phone at the side of him. Mum is completely done, she's had enough....I honestly don't blame her, she asked a simple question and he was so flipping shifty....if he wasn't up to anything, he would just say where he was going....I can actually find out, I will just take the SD card out of the dashcam and look at today's footage but then there's that part of me that knows I will come across something awful again and have to tell/ show my mum and I am afraid I will kill him....I despise lies and the fact he looked me in the eye and blatantly and convincingly lied to me,... well, I just think anything that comes out of his mouth is more lies
