Stain on blouse - help!

Unusually, last night, I ate dinner in my decent clothes as I was going out afterwards.

Like a total pleb, I spilled tomato pasta down a pale blue blouse which failed to come out, as I suspected.

It is now unwearable. Anyone know how to remove a tomato stain from polyester?

Thanks all

I always keep a tub of astonish oxy plus in as I am dreadful for spilling my dinner. You can put a scoopful in the wash or make a solution and hand wash your blouse in it, I find it very good. You can get them from the Supermarket there are several different brands I think they are all good.
It should tell you on the tub if you can use on delicates I have had no problems.

You can try soaking it in milk.

When i worked at the fashion house, we had an elderly Polish lady that dealt with all the alterations and repairs, including stain removal, she used milk for EVERYTHING.

You need to let it soak and the more "off" the milk is the better it works (apparently)

I have never actually tried it though

I find that the old green fairy soap bar (NOw sold as a household stain stick) is fab. Just wet the shirt rub the soap in till green and slimey then leave for a while. Rinse out.I used to uise it on the kids clothes after a bolognaise attack.......Good luck.

I know it sounds a bit mad but she swore by it and she had been "in the business" for YEARS!!!!

Obviously wash it afterwards

First attack is with Oxy Plus.

Said skanky garment currently languishing in 2 litres of water/4 scoops of the stuff. Either the stain will come out, or the blouse will disintegrate.....

I'll post results later

Just in case the detergents dont work, if you hang the shirt on the line in sunshine the uv light should break down the stain
