Ok a very short story, if another breed it would have been on the front page! And I am sorry to say it but:

"The family also owns a Pit Bull."

WHAT RELEVENCE IS THAT? The Pitty did nothing! Why mention it? When wee Archie-lee was killed by a Rottie they didn't mention that the family also had a Borzoi did they?

Oh better throw it in because lets face it, a JRT on it's own will get less publicity!

RIP little baby, 6 weeks old, how very very sad.

Rest well little Baby another uneccessary tragedy.
Agree with what Random says.
People will never learn will they we hear so much now about dogs attacking children and babies but still some people leave them on their own together.

What a sad business all the way round.
Poor baby that lost its life. RIP, little one.

I have only ever had jacks, still wouldn't leave them alone with any kiddies.
Current one loves kids, first one hated them - but common sense says never leave a dog and a child unsupervised. You never know.
