Scary day

Woke up this morning to the news that the block of flats where my Dad lives blew up last night , maybe a gas explosion
no-one was hurt , miraculously , but its taken til now for me to track down Dad and speak to him (like a big soft sod I burst into tears as soon as he said hello) ... and only now cos a very lovely policewoman said it was out of order for people to fob me off on the phone saying they didnt know anything but not try to help me locate where he'd been taken ..... so she rang around and within minutes got back to me with the address and phone number of where the residents had been evacuated to

Bless him he's all over the place , def not thinking straight , he didnt even have time to grab his mobile or money or anything , it never even crossed his mind that me and my brother would be panicking , bloody men ... but he's safe and thats what counts

so much for house cleaning huh

oh my word, I'm so pleased to hear that no-one was hurt, particularly your Dad.

But what a stressful time for you knowing it had happened but not knowing where he was. I'm glad the policewoman stepped in to help you out.
