Rain here – and plenty of it. Now where did I put that coat with the hood? I put it away, as I thought we were well into Summer – wrong!

Oh well, at least I don’t have to keep watering the garden at night Mind you, at this rate, I’ll have to get the flowers a few lifeboats!

I went strawberry picking yesterday at our local PYO. So this morning i am enjoying a breakfast of bran flakes, chopped strawberries blueberries and banana. Mmmm lovely.

Thankfully, I've got one of my staff back today after a week off. At least I can get an early finish. Yesterday was brutal. 220 calls between 2 of us plus all the email I'm shattered Just don't ask about the one on long term sick

Wet here too, been raining all night. I am surprised we don't have a swimming pool outside.

Gorden has a lovely journey today too birmingham 3 hour drive bad enough when the weather is bad much worse when its weather like this.

Off to mums today she has a hospital appointment. Michael is coming along too to say goodbye before he leaves for Dubai in two weeks. You never know do you what might happen before he gets back for a holiday when mum is 90.
